src/main/core/ reads the folder and Git; nothing else in the app touches the disk directly.

File	Task
files.ts	the folder tree; hidden files and installed dependencies are left out
brain.ts	one document: frontmatter, links and backlinks, markers, warnings
concepts.ts	concepts from 10_concepts/ and 90_archive/concepts/, their results: resolved to files
git.ts	changed files since a point (worktree, today, week, month), file contents at a revision, date of the last change

Warnings

Warning	When
Frontmatter	the frontmatter cannot be parsed, or is missing (except in 40_sources/, 50_assets/)
Summary	frontmatter without summary
Link	a link points to a file that does not exist
Updated	updated is older than the last change in Git
Marker	open [CHECK] markers

The file watcher tells the UI about every change; views reload what they show.
